Cancer Survivors Parade

Welcome to another post. Currently we are staying at Pioneer Creek RV Resort in Bowling Green, Florida and it is one of the friendliest camps we have ever stayed at.

Yesterday they had a celebration of all the cancer survivors residing here. The planning has been going on for quiet a while starting a few weeks ago with people signing up to have a small flag placed in their lot, then you could sign up to ride in the parade, if you liked you could buy the essentials need to make luminaries to be placed in your yard the last few days and finally the parade and silent auction held yesterday. I don’t know the final total was but the last I heard our little park had raised almost $1000.00 if not more.

NEWS FLASH!! I have just learned today that the fine people here in Pioneer Creek RV Resort raised almost $4600.00! I am so proud to say that this is my camping family.
