It has been a long time!

For as long as I can remember I have been attracted to Harley Davidson motorcycles and not just any one I have always wanted a full dresser. Not until the early 1990’s did I fulfill my dream and for many years I rode that bike everywhere until I totaled it in 2000 on my way to Alaska I was in of all places Destruction Bay Yukon Territory. When I got home I replaced it with a brand new 2000 FLHTCU and the adventure continued. I have toured to so many place it may be impossible to list all of them but I have almost 45,000 miles on it. However it has been a long time since I have taken a long ride on my motorcycle and almost 18 months since I have even rode it at all. It is amazing how a bad knee and other medical conditions will keep one off the road. Today I am back in the saddle and have to get some maintenance done before I will consider a longer trek. The ride to DMV and back brought hundreds of memories of my long time riding friends who are no longer around. I will always miss them but hopefully I will start a new history with someone else.
