More of Frontier Days

Our next trip to Frontier Days was for one of the three different parades that they put on during the event. With us staying in Loveland, CO which is over an hour drive away it is challenging to get to some of the events but the parade was well worth the effort. There isn’t much that can be said about a parade but this one had a lot of horses, a few marching bands and so much more. I think today I will try to tell the story in photographs.

A fancy ride to Boot Hill
If you are lucky you won’t ride in the one above.
A horse drawn fuel truck
Mini Chuckwagon
Fire equipment
I’m guessing it hauls water
Door to door milk delivery
Luxury transportation in its time
One of the nicest teams there! There are four more horses in front of these two that look just as good.
Wonder what the loss was each trip due to melting
I want to ride one of these
A really nice John Deere Model 70 tractor
US Navy Country band. Check out the ink on the lead singer’s leg.
We know a pilot in the Delaware Air National Guard so it was nice to see this.
An old Yellowstone Park tour bus.

During the parade the street sweeper came through to clean up some of the mess but with all of the horses in the parade it was somewhat a losing battle. Our next adventure awaits!
