We Start Exploring the Area

After self quarantining for a few days and getting to know the people in the park we finally started exploring the area. On November 15 the United States returned to the space program with their first manned space launch since the shuttle program was shut down. I saw a space shuttle launch but never a night launch and since we are less than 3 hours away and Edgar loves to go for rides we loaded up the car headed east to see the rocket launch. We didn’t have any idea where to go or what to do but we ended up in a beautiful public park in Melbourne FL that had a pier goin g out into a bay that was south of Cape Kennedy Space Center. WE were close enough that we could see the glow from the lights at the launch pad. It was a wonderful sight and sensation to experience the launch and to witness some history in the making. There was a cargo rocket launch the day before that we got to see and since the manned flight we have seen to other rockets launch but only from out resort here in Zephyrhills. The picture below was the manned launch at night time.
