Will this be the year???

The only reason this blog was started in 2019 was to keep people informed about our 63day Alaskan/Western Canada Caravan vacation which we purchased in March that year. If you want to look at the actual tour, click here Alaska & The Calgary Stampede | Adventure Caravans – Guided RV Tours Little did we know that it would take three years to actually get there.

We are leaving Delaware today with our first stop in Harrisburg where we will get out annual maintenance performed. From there we will be heading to South Fork, PA to visit friends. Along with visiting the Flight 93 Memorial Chapel again we hope to explore new locations in the area. One attraction that comes to mind is the Frank Lloyd Wright home Falling Water. From there we will be working our way west stopping at several locations which eventually will get us to Goshen, Indiana where we will attend a FMCA rally. Of course, while in the area we will have to get sticky buns at Rise’n Roll Bakery of Middlebury ( some people call their sticky buns! These sticky buns are so addictive some people call them “Amish Crack”. There also is a possible return trip to the Shipshewana Harness Shop to get a new belt.

Way back in 2000 to document a motorcycle trip to Alaska and I wrote a travel blog for the trip and not once did I worry about getting online to post updates. Back then for a monthly expense I could subscribe to an 800 number that would allow me unlimited access to AOL and make my updates. Now in 2022 I am in a quandary about the best system to use to give me consistent internet access. If anyone has a good suggestion let me know.

I know this is a short post, but we are busy loading to the RV and making sure all of the correct appliance, valves and breakers are turned off. Keep us in your prayers and hopefully we will have a grand story to tell.
